| Location: South Africa » Mpumalanga » Trichardt The town, located 5 km east of Secunda, was established on the farm Vaalkrans as a Dutch Reformed Church parish, and received town status in 1906. It was later named Trichardtfontein after Carolus Trichardt, eldest son of the well known Voortrekker leader, Louis Trichardt , Carolus Trichardt lived on the farm Goedehoop, near Trichardt, for many years.
