Bushveld Lodge - Chalets

HISTORY

The owner, Mr Tony van Eijk, established Bushveld Lodge in 1994, when there were only two historic Hotels in Nelspruit. 

With a growing need for accommodation and conference facilities, he constructed two Lodges - Bushveld Lodge from nothingness and Lakeview Lodge on a small holding with Historic houses.

Both lodges have a restaurant where Breakfasts and Dinners are served in a lovely ambience. The lodges are situated opposite each other on the Kaapschehoop Road, 4 kms form Nelspruit.

Bushveld Lodge Self Catering Chalets

Situated on the banks of the Gladdespruit river, Bushveld Lodge Self Catering Chalets offer rare tranquility in unspoiled sub-tropical Lowveld bushveld.

Unwind in the shade of the trees, overlooking the meandering river, relax by the sparkling swimming pool, take a stroll along shaded paths... or just relax on the deck of your chalet.

Bushveld Lodge offers 21 Self Catering units with a total capacity of 64 beds.

There are 21 thatched chalets offering self catering accommodation in 2-sleepers, 4-sleepers and 6-sleepers, all with their own private wooden deck facing the river. as well as braai facilities for each chalet.

Each chalet has its own kitchen, shower and toilet and are fully equipped and serviced daily.

There is also a kiddies playground with swings and slide, as well as a sparkling swimming pool, ideal to relax and enjoy the sunny weather for which the Mpumalanga Lowveld is renowned.the

Lakeview Self Catering Lodge

Situated on the other side of the road, Lakeview Self Catering Lodge lies on the banks of the Nelsloop River. The four country Holiday Houses and four thatched Chalets are fully equipped for self catering.

There is a beautiful restaurant with real country hospitality and a unique atmosphere.

If a break away from it all is what you need, breakfasts and dinners are served daily in the restaurant, professionally catered for your delight.
