Each chalet is nestled amongst indigenous trees, home to a wide variety of birds, overlooking The Sabie River Valley which lies at the edge of the escarpment of the misty Drakensberg Mountains. Various animals frequent the property including Zebra, Impala, Kudu and Wildebeest to name a few.

 

Beautifully appointed 2 bedroom en suite chalets. Sleeps 4 - 5 people. Although Self catering, and fully equipped, the chalets are serviced daily for your convenience.  DSTV, air conditioning, barbeque facilities and private heated Rock Art Jacuzzi invites you to unwind and relax.

 

The Honeymoon Chalet was designed to create an atmosphere of comfortable, romantic, luxury. The queen size four-poster bed, crisp white percale linen, comfy chairs, double shower and built in Jacuzzi all cater to your sensual needs.

The four caravan sites were built with the executive caravaner in mind, each with its own private bathroom and scullery. Each scullery is equipped with a sink, additional cupboards, washing machine and fridge/ freezer. All sites offer an electrical point, privacy, a built in barbeque, paving, lawns and natural bush.

Many outdoor activities, wildlife sanctuaries, and spectacular scenic drives will ensure exciting day excursions. For the sport enthusiast, we have golf and tennis courts, as well as bowling greens in close proximity.

Hazyview’s climate is mild throughout the year.  Temperatures vary from mild winters between 04 - 22 C to warm hot summers between 20 – 38 C. Summer is from October to April and winter from May to September which provides a welcome getaway for visitors from the Northern Hemisphere.

# From White River take the R40 to Hazyview. # Approx 42 Km you will find the Hazyview Protea Hotel On your right. # Past the hotel, downhill, approx 3km you Will find a notice and big thatch gate on the Left – UMBHABA LODGE. This is also our entrance. # Go through the gate, immediately to your left you will find our Tranquil Nest board. # Follow the road, the chalets are on the right.
